In an event combining intellectual elegance and deep cultural appreciation, Thursina International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) reaffirms its position as a world-class educational institution through the Thursina Language Festival (TLF) 2026. Held on April 28 to May 1, it is not just an ordinary language festival; it is a cultural immersion precisely designed to raise the profile of students with a cross-cultural mindset.
This year, TLF highlighted the splendor of Chinese cultural heritage as its main theme. The campus atmosphere transformed into a space of cultural dialectics, where students and educators clad in traditional attire steeped in historical significance. The Lion Dance had been a symbol to open the event, marking the beginning of the students' exploratory journey to develop intercultural awareness.
For the Thursina family, mastering a foreign language is not just a means of communication, but the key to unlocking a global network. Through various milestone competitions such as sophisticated speech, storytelling, and theatrical drama, students are trained to gain international exposure from an early age.
The Chief of Education of Thursina IIBS, Ustadz Muhammad Rajab, M.Pd.I., emphasized the importance of a curriculum transcending textual boundaries. He stated that the initiative is part of a strategic refinement to empower internationally minded individuals.

Askarullah Zuhri Alqassam, the President of the Thursina Student Association (TSA), reflected on his colleagues' enthusiasm for the high standards set by TLF 2026. He considered the event a valuable opportunity to advance camaraderie and foster a spirit of humble yet broad-minded global citizenship.
