Thursina IIBS successfully held the 2025 Islamic Super Camp (ISC), attended by hundreds of the future students in grades 5 and 6 for two days, on December 22-23, 2025. It was specifically designed for prospective students of Thursina Middle School as an initial introduction program before they officially start their education and life at the Islamic boarding school of Thursina IIBS.
The ISC 2025 provided a fun and meaningful first learning experience for participants. Over two days, they were introduced to the rhythms of Islamic boarding school life through worship, learning, character building, and communal activities, all presented in an interactive and educational way.
Meanwhile, Ustaz Helmi Mahendra, S.Pd., the Manager of the Bridging Education Program (BEP) and the head of the committee, explained that the ISC focuses not only on material but also on experience. "We want them to experience Islamic boarding school life firsthand, from congregational prayers and Qiyamul Lail (the night prayer), to enjoyable learning activities. This is a crucial introductory phase to help students feel comfortable and motivated," he explained.
Through the 2025 Islamic Super Camp, Thursina IIBS affirms its commitment to prepare a generation who excel not only academically but also mature in character and spirituality. "This program is expected to be a vital first step for prospective Thursina Middle School students in embarking on a holistic, focused, and globally oriented Islamic boarding school education journey," concluded Ustaz Helmi.
