Thursina International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) held a Security Code of Ethics Reorientation on Saturday, January 3, 2026, in the Sorbonne Meeting Room, as a planned strategy to strengthen the security system and reaffirm the commitment and integrity of all security personnels within the institution.

The event was attended by Thursina IIBS management, including the Chairman, Ustadz Ali Wahyudi, the CEO, Ustadz Nur Abidin, M.Ed., and several related unit leaders. It served as a major forum for aligning the vision and work standards of security personnel as the frontline in maintaining security, order, and comfort in the educational environment.

In his remarks, the Chairman of Thursina IIBS, Ustadz Ali Wahyudi emphasized that the role of security cannot be seen merely as a technical officer, but rather as part of the value system and culture of the institution.

"Security is the first face of the institution. Our attitudes, actions, and decision-making must reflect the values ​​of integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism, Thursina's core principles," he emphasized. Meanwhile, Thursina CEO, Ustadz Nur Abidin, M.Ed., highlighted the importance of commitment and discipline as the primary foundations for security duties.

"Strong security is born from shared commitment. The reorientation isn't just a reminder of the rules, but an attempt to build awareness that every security task has a direct impact on the continuity of the educational process," he said.

In the presentation session, a number of main points were presented, including strengthening the role as the front guard of security, affirming work commitments, improving the reward and consequence system, establishing the integrity pact, and plans to implement new policies related to safety in Thursina IIBS.

The Chief of Management Information Technology (MIT) of Thursina IIBS, Ustadz Imam Baehaqi, S.Kom., M.M., stated that strengthening the security code of ethics will align with the development of more integrated governance-based security systems and policies. He emphasized that the updated security policy is designed to improve the effectiveness of surveillance, security response, and accountability in carrying out tasks.

Thursina IIBS hopes that all security staff will have a comprehensive understanding of their roles, ethics, and responsibilities through the program, thereby creating a safe, orderly, and conducive educational environment for the entire academic community. (lil)
