Kuala Lumpur has witnessed the gathering of young global leaders in the World Youth Festival (WYF) 2025, an international event organized by the Youth Break the Boundaries Foundation (YBB). The festival provided a platform for young innovators to ignite ideas, strengthen collaboration, and foster an entrepreneurial spirit grounded in sustainability. From October 6 to 9, 2025, participants from various countries discussed, competed, and networked in an exciting, multicultural atmosphere.

Ustaz Aziz Tanama, M.Pd., as the Coordinator of Learning Process of Thursina IIBS, said Thursina's involvement in international events like WYF is a concrete manifestation of the institution's commitment to build globally minded students. "Thursina encourages its students not only to excel on the national level but also to be brave enough to appear in the international forums. Through some events, such as WYF, they learn to be part of the world's solutions, not only spectators," explained Ustaz Aziz.

The WYF program features a series of activities such as the International Youth Summit, Global Panel Discussion, International Business Idea Competition, and Cultural & Awards Night. Each participant is encouraged to think critically and creatively in designing innovative solutions to global issues such as education, the creative economy, fintech, and the environment.

Through an international business idea competition, participants have the opportunity to develop their ideas into real projects with the support of global experts and professionals.

Moreover, WYF serves as a learning space for cross-cultural leadership. The delegates are trained to understand diversity, communicate effectively, and build strategic partnerships across countries. "For Thursina students, this experience will strengthen their visionary and collaborative leadership skills; two essential qualities to deal with future challenges," he emphasized .

The core spirit of WYF 2025 aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), where every idea and innovation is aimed at creating a sustainable social impact. Participants are expected to take home not only certificates and experiences but also a renewed awareness of the role of the younger generation in building a more just and empowered world.

Aziz Tanama reaffirmed his hope that international experiences like WYF will inspire other Thursina students to cross boundaries. "We want the Thursina students to grow into global changemakers, young leaders with broad thinking, concrete action, and contribution to the advancement of humanity and global civilization," concluded the Coordinator of the Learning Process of Thursina IIBS optimistically.
